Prime Video Reveals Sophie Turner as Lara Croft in New Tomb Raider Series

Amazon MGM Studios has officially kicked off production on the upcoming Tomb Raider series, revealing a first-look of Sophie Turner as Lara Croft on Prime Video. The series adapts the legendary Tomb Raider video game franchise, following the adventures of the world-renowned archaeologist and explorer, Lara Croft.
Sophie Turner stars as Lara Croft alongside a newly announced cast including Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Martin Bobb-Semple, Jack Bannon, John Heffernan, Bill Paterson, Paterson Joseph, Sasha Luss, Juliette Motamed, Celia Imrie, and August Wittgenstein.
The series is led by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), serving as creator, writer, executive producer, and showrunner, with Chad Hodge also acting as showrunner and executive producer. Jonathan Van Tulleken directs and serves as executive producer.

Tomb Raider is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Crystal Dynamics, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Jenny Robins under Wells Street Films, with additional executive producers from Story Kitchen, Michael Scheel, and Legendary Television. Matt McInnis and Jan R. Martin act as co-executive producers and producers. Production is a collaborative effort of Story Kitchen, Crystal Dynamics, and Amazon MGM Studios.
