Another Eden Begins Announced for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC

Another Eden Begins has officially been announced for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Steam. This upcoming title is set within the same universe as Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space, the free to play RPG currently available on PC and mobile platforms.

Unlike the original game, Another Eden Begins is designed as a standalone spin off experience. The game moves away from gacha mechanics and instead delivers a complete console style RPG with a dedicated storyline and multiple endings.

A New Console Focused RPG Experience

Another Eden Begins reimagines the franchise as a premium RPG built specifically for console and PC players. The game features a self contained narrative, structured progression, and story driven gameplay rather than live service elements.

Players can expect a fully voiced main story supported by rich character development and cinematic presentation. The main theme music is composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, blending orchestral arrangements with traditional instruments, produced in collaboration with Procyon Studios.

Story Overview

The story begins in the peaceful village of Baruoki, where Aldo lives together with his younger sister Feinne. Their quiet life is shattered when the Beast King kidnaps Feinne, forcing Aldo to chase him into the Moonlight Forest.

After a fierce battle, Aldo is pulled into a space time rift and awakens in a world 800 years in the future. This event marks the start of an epic journey that spans the past, present, and future, crossing different eras and dimensions.

Throughout the adventure, Aldo will meet 18 additional playable characters, each with unique backgrounds, abilities, and personal story quests. These character quests and bond events add depth to the world and expand the overall narrative.

Turn Based Combat and Strategic Party Play

Combat in Another Eden Begins follows a turn based battle system focused on party composition and strategic decision making. Certain characters can combine abilities to trigger special skills, allowing for varied combat strategies depending on team setup.

This system rewards planning and experimentation, giving players flexibility in how they approach battles across different timelines.

Multiple Endings and New Game Plus

One of the standout features is New Game Plus, which allows players to restart the game while retaining character strength. This enables players to explore alternative choices, story routes, and outcomes.

The game includes more than 10 different endings, encouraging replayability and offering meaningful consequences based on player decisions throughout the journey.

Release Window

Another Eden Begins is scheduled to launch in Summer 2026, between June and August. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
