AYANEO Unveils KONKR FIT Handheld Gaming PC With Ryzen AI 9 and 144Hz OLED

AYANEO has officially announced KONKR FIT, its first Windows-based handheld gaming PC released under the new KONKR sub-brand. Aimed squarely at high-end users, the device combines premium hardware with a sleek handheld form factor, positioning itself as a powerful alternative to traditional portable gaming systems.

The KONKR FIT features a 7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, delivering vibrant colors and fluid motion for fast-paced games. This makes it particularly appealing to players who value visual clarity and responsiveness in a compact device.

High-End Ryzen AI Performance

At the core of KONKR FIT is AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 9 platform. The handheld is available in two configurations, starting with the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 paired with 16GB LPDDR5x-8533 memory and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. The higher-end model upgrades to the Ryzen AI 9 HX 470, also known as Gorgon Point, combined with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD.

Pre-order pricing begins at USD 999 for the base configuration, while the top-tier model is priced at USD 1,299. Shipping is scheduled to begin in April, targeting enthusiasts who want maximum performance in a portable Windows gaming system.

Storage and Upgrade Considerations

One important limitation to note is that KONKR FIT uses an M.2 2230 SSD, which offers fewer upgrade options compared to standard-sized drives. Additionally, the memory is soldered directly to the motherboard, meaning RAM upgrades are not possible after purchase. Users are advised to choose their desired memory configuration carefully based on long-term needs.

While the performance difference between the HX 370 and HX 470 processors may not be dramatic for all workloads, the increased memory and storage capacity of the higher-end model could provide better value for users planning to run demanding games and applications over time.

Premium Features and Build

AYANEO has equipped KONKR FIT with a robust set of features expected from a flagship handheld. The device includes a large 80.85Wh battery, dual USB4 Type-C ports with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery 3.0 support, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microSD card slot for expandable storage.

Security and controls are also well covered, with a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button and TMR analog sticks surrounded by customizable RGB lighting. Cooling is handled by a vapor chamber system paired with active fans, designed to maintain performance during extended gaming sessions.

Weighing 738 grams, the KONKR FIT strikes a balance between power and portability. While its premium pricing places it firmly in the enthusiast category, it offers a compelling option for users seeking desktop-level performance in a handheld form factor.
