Arc Raiders Report Shows Less Than Half Players Engage in PvP

A recent report highlights surprising player behavior in Arc Raiders, the extraction shooter PvPvE title that has captured attention with its tense looting and survival gameplay. While the game’s core concept encourages players to fight over valuable items in dangerous zones, new data reveals that most players are taking a less aggressive approach.
According to PC Gamer, tracking achievements and gameplay on Steam shows that only 42.3% of players have earned the “Unyielding” trophy, which requires defeating over 10 other players in a match. This suggests that roughly 57.7% of players are not prioritizing PvP combat, instead focusing on collecting loot and surviving until the end of a match.

Even more strikingly, 19% of players have never killed another player, demonstrating a preference for cautious exploration over aggressive confrontation. Despite the game’s PvPvE design, which naturally encourages high-risk encounters, these findings indicate that many players are treating the map as a relatively safe space for looting rather than a battlefield. It remains to be seen whether these trends will continue or if the most coveted loot zones will eventually become hotspots for intense PvP action.
