Arknights Endfield 1.1 update brings new operators and Wuling expansion

Arknights Endfield 1.1 update launches March 12

Arknights: Endfield is preparing for its next major milestone. The Arknights Endfield 1.1 update will go live on March 12, 2026, shortly after Yvonne’s banner ends.

Producer Light Zhong confirmed that this patch focuses on smoother gameplay, improved base systems, and meaningful content expansion. Two new 6-star operators will headline the update.

Two new 6 star operators

Tangtang

Class: Caster
Element: Cryo
Weapon: Handcannon

Tangtang specializes in wide area damage. Her ultimate skill can immobilize enemies, including bosses. This makes her valuable for crowd control and high pressure encounters.

Rossi

Class: Guard
Element: Physical and Thermal
Weapon: Sword

Rossi focuses on close range burst damage. She applies a Vulnerability status that boosts physical damage taken by enemies, strengthening team synergy.

Major AIC and base system improvements

The Arknights Endfield 1.1 update introduces significant changes to the AIC factory system.

Players can now build structures outside the main AIC core area. Cable dragging distance increases from 90 meters to 100 meters. Power lines will no longer disconnect during story scenes.

New hydro mining platforms collect Kuprem without electricity by using water flow. Liquid transport pipes allow long distance fluid transfer while avoiding obstacles. Wastewater treatment units convert dirty water into Wuling batteries.

Wuling expansion and new story content

The Wuling City expansion introduces Qingbo Stockade, a village with complex water systems and windmills. New beast like enemies and a boss with unique mechanics will appear. Players must use Serenite powered systems to defeat them.

The main story sends players back to investigate Tangtang’s disappearance. Conflicts between Qingbo and Wuling will gradually surface.

Rossi’s side story explores a lighter adventure inside a secret children’s kingdom.

Quality of life improvements

Arknights Endfield 1.1 adds skip options for certain cutscenes. New players who complete Chapter 1 receive 10 recruitment licenses. Existing players who already cleared Chapter 1 can claim the reward immediately.

Dungeon entries now restore operators to full HP and SP. Control customization improves for controller users, including easier structure relocation with hold inputs.

Battle pass and future plans

The new Protocol Pass season Dark Current includes a selectable 6 star weapon crate. Both free and paid tracks grant rewards, with paid users able to earn two crates total.

Future updates promise two additional maps, a new frontline stage, and expanded AIC fluid systems. Wuling City will also face a large-scale crisis involving Ardashear forces attempting to destroy the dam.

With expanded building freedom and two powerful operators, Arknights Endfield 1.1 marks one of the most ambitious updates yet.
