Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm+ Opens Apple Arcade Pre-Registration in SEA

In a pleasant surprise for anime and gaming fans, Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the launch of a new version of the popular fighting game, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, on Apple Arcade. This marks the first time the core console franchise has brought its signature brand of intense 3D ninja action to smartphones. The new version, titled Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm+, is now available for pre-registration on the App Store across Southeast Asia and is scheduled to launch on December 4, 2025.
About Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm+
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm+ is a 3D fighting game based on the Naruto ninja manga. Players engage in thrilling confrontations within large arenas. They can unleash powerful ninjutsu and enjoy fast-paced ninja action, including wall-running and rapid movements. The game features remastered graphics optimized for high-resolution screens. It also utilizes the Awakening Mode, which allows players to temporarily upgrade their abilities mid-match to increase power or unlock devastating ultimate attacks.
Core Gameplay and Exclusive Characters
The main gameplay modes in this version center on the campaign content. This covers the storyline from Part I, detailing the childhood of Naruto Uzumaki. The story mode is divided into sections: open village exploration where players can freely run around and take on various quests, and structured combat sequences.
The game also features a Free Battle mode. This mode allows players to use a lineup of 25 characters. Players can further enhance their combat strategy by selecting 10 support characters to join them in battle. This allows for the execution of new, spectacular combos.
A key point for this mobile version is its exclusivity to Apple Arcade. This version includes new playable characters, Zabuza and Haku, who were not available in the console or general retail mobile editions. However, players should note that this is strictly a single-player experience. It does not support additional controllers or online play.
Apple Arcade Service Details
Players interested in diving into the world of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm+ must subscribe to Apple Arcade. This subscription service allows members to play a range of games on their iOS and macOS devices. It offers a premium experience with no in-game microtransactions and supports offline play. Apple Arcade is available as a standalone subscription or as part of the Apple One service bundle, starting at 149 dollars per month.
The minimum device specifications required to run the game are:

THIS IS our take: Bringing the core Ultimate Ninja Storm experience to mobile is fantastic, but adding fan-favorites Zabuza and Haku exclusively to the Apple Arcade version is a genius move to attract subscribers. While the lack of online play stings a little, the promise of remastered graphics and a focused single-player campaign make this the perfect nostalgic hit for Naruto fans across Southeast Asia to enjoy on the go. Believe it!
