Pragmata Announces Release Date and Free Demo
During the morning session of The Game Awards 2025, Capcom officially confirmed that Pragmata, the highly anticipated sci-fi action-adventure game, will launch by mid-2026. Alongside this announcement, a free demo is now available for download on Steam, and a Nintendo Switch 2 version has also been confirmed, with all versions scheduled to release simultaneously.
Pragmata follows the story of Hugh and Diana, two humans who cross paths unexpectedly. Hugh, a spacefarer, teams up with Diana, an AI-powered humanoid robot, as they navigate a deserted space station in a distant galaxy while facing a ruthless enemy army. Gameplay emphasizes weapon-based combat, puzzle-solving through hacking mechanics, and cooperative action between the two characters.

The free demo offers a hands-on preview of gameplay previously shown at events including gamescom Asia and Thailand Game Show 2025. Players can control both Hugh and Diana to overcome obstacles, solve puzzles, and face a boss encounter at the end of the demo, providing a thrilling first look at the game’s action and atmosphere.

Pragmata is set to release on April 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Interested players can visit the Steam store now to follow updates directly from the developers. Pre-orders include exclusive skins, giving fans an early incentive to secure their copy.

Pragmata promises to deliver a compelling mix of sci-fi action, puzzle-solving, and cooperative gameplay, and the free demo allows fans to experience its immersive world ahead of the full release in April 2026.
