Xiaomi Miloco marks new AI breakthrough at MWC 2026

At Xiaomi MWC 2026, the company unveiled a new phase of its AI-powered ecosystem under the concept “Human x Car x Home.” The showcase focused on integrating artificial intelligence into daily life beyond traditional smartphone features.

AI moves from screen to real life

Xiaomi emphasized that AI should serve real-world use cases. The company presented its ecosystem as a seamless network connecting smartphones, vehicles, and smart home devices.

A major highlight was Xiaomi Miloco, also known as Xiaomi Local Copilot. This system marks the first real-world deployment of Xiaomi’s in-house large model, MiMo. Miloco combines advanced reasoning, multimodal perception, and edge-cloud collaboration.

Because processing happens on-device when needed, the system protects sensitive data and improves privacy. At the same time, cloud integration allows broader intelligence across devices.

Smarter home automation with context awareness

Miloco adapts to user behavior automatically. It can adjust lighting based on activities such as reading or watching TV. It also detects room conditions and triggers smart appliances like robotic vacuums when needed.

Instead of relying on fixed rules, the system responds conversationally. Users can issue complex smart home commands naturally. The AI interprets context and executes coordinated actions across devices.

Moreover, Xiaomi expanded its HyperAI ecosystem with support from Google Gemini. This collaboration enables system-level intelligence that connects smartphones, vehicles, and smart appliances in a unified experience.

Vision GT and future mobility

Xiaomi also introduced the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo concept. The hypercar prototype appeared publicly for the first time at MWC.

Designed for the Gran Turismo franchise, the vehicle reflects Xiaomi’s exploration of futuristic automotive design. The cabin features a teardrop structure and aerodynamic detailing. It also integrates smart features that connect directly with the Human x Car x Home ecosystem.

This presentation reinforces Xiaomi’s ambition in smart mobility alongside its electric vehicle developments.

Expanding global smart appliances

Beyond smartphones and vehicles, Xiaomi showcased its growing smart appliance lineup. The company is expanding air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines globally.

Currently, Xiaomi smart appliances operate across four major regions and 14 countries. The devices integrate directly into the broader AI ecosystem. This approach transforms traditional appliances into adaptive, intelligent systems.

Commitment to sustainability

Xiaomi also highlighted sustainability as a core pillar of its strategy. The company operates integrated smart manufacturing facilities, including smartphone, EV, and smart appliance plants.

Automation and AI improve resource efficiency and reduce waste. Xiaomi recently received an upgraded MSCI ESG rating of “A” and recognition from Forbes China ESG 50.

With Xiaomi MWC 2026, the company clearly signaled its transition from device-focused innovation to ecosystem-driven intelligence. The Human x Car x Home strategy positions AI not just as a feature, but as the foundation of connected living.
