Project ONSOKU Releases Third Track: “Jet Black” by Yunosuke
SEGA has unveiled the third track of the Project ONSOKU collaboration between Sonic the Hedgehog and Hatsune Miku. Titled “Jet Black,” the song is composed by Yunosuke and features a music video illustrated by FAMY. This release continues the series of original songs celebrating Hatsune Miku’s inclusion in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, set to launch on September 25, 2025.
About “Jet Black”
“Jet Black” is a high-energy track that embodies the essence of Sonic’s speed and Shadow’s mysterious persona. Yunosuke, known for his innovative sound design and pop compositions, brings a dynamic blend of electronic elements to the song. The accompanying music video, crafted by FAMY, complements the song’s intense rhythm with striking visuals.
Project ONSOKU Overview
Project ONSOKU is a special music collaboration between SEGA’s iconic character, Sonic the Hedgehog, and virtual pop idol Hatsune Miku. The project features five original songs by different artists, each accompanied by its own music video. A new track and video are released weekly, with all songs set to be featured as background music in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. The first two tracks, “SAI LOVE JINSEI RUNNER” by Kairiki Bear and “We Are Pico Pico Hammers!!!!” by cosMo@Bousou-P, have already been released.
