New Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Season 01 REVEALED

New Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Season 01 REVEALED
Treyarch has pulled back the curtain on the exciting content planned for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7‘s Season 01. The developers released a recent Dev Talk video. They confirmed that the first season will be the biggest in franchise history. This massive content drop will span both Multiplayer and the popular Zombies mode. The full game is scheduled to launch on November 14, 2025. Players in Southeast Asia can expect Season 01 to start a few weeks later. This new season promises to keep the action fresh for months to come.
Unprecedented Multiplayer Map Expansion
Season 01 is set to bring a huge influx of new Multiplayer maps. The developers confirmed that seven new 6v6 maps will be added. This is a significant addition following the 18 maps available at launch. One new map showcased is Fate. This is a brand new map inspired by the campaign mission, Time and Fate. Fate features a trippy setting with fractured and floating building pieces. The design promises unique and challenging combat engagements. Furthermore, the return of Treyarch’s signature wall-jumping mechanic on maps like Toshin will allow for highly creative movement. This opens new routes and outplay potential for all Vault Hunters.
Classic Weapons and Game Modes Return
The Seasonal Update will reintroduce a total of seven new weapons. These additions will delight longtime Black Ops fans. Notably, the fan-favorite Maddox assault rifle from Black Ops 4 is confirmed to return. Two other iconic weapons are also making a comeback. The infamous crossbow and the deadly ballistic knife will be available to players. The return of these two weapons confirms a classic party mode as well. The popular party mode Sticks and Stones will be packed into the Season 01 update. Players can also look forward to the return of Prop Hunt and new seasonal limited-time modes.
Major Zombies Content Injection
Zombies mode enthusiasts also have much to anticipate. Season 01 is confirmed to feature a large amount of cooperative content. The update will add a total of three new Zombies maps. This includes one brand new round-based map. Additionally, two new survival maps will be included. These survival maps are based on locations found within the launch map, Ashes of the Damned. The update will introduce a wealth of new features for the mode. This includes new augments, field upgrades, ammo mods, and other Zombies content. The developers are clearly focusing on post-launch support.
Warzone and Future Updates
The Season 01 content will also integrate with Call of Duty: Warzone. A new Resurgence map and a refresh of Rebirth Island are on the cards. Though some Warzone changes are not expected until early 2026, the core experience will integrate with Black Ops 7. Overall, Season 01 delivers a massive content boost. This ensures that the Call of Duty community across Southeast Asia has plenty of fresh challenges to explore.
