NIKKE Announces Massive Third Anniversary Celebration
GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE is gearing up for its biggest celebration yet. The highly anticipated Third Anniversary event officially kicks off on October 30, 2025. This massive update includes a pivotal new storyline, several new playable characters, and an unprecedented number of free rewards for Commanders across the globe.
New Characters and Playable Lineup
The third anniversary update will introduce three significant new characters to the playable roster. This is a crucial moment for the game’s lore and player teams.
Nayuta will debut as a new playable unit. This Pilgrim Pioneer squad member was introduced in recent story chapters. She is a Burst II Wind-element SMG unit. Her kit is designed to support the team by providing healing and increasing damage output upon using her Burst Skill.
Liberalio, a Heretic, will also be added to the lineup. As a fusion of Nikke and Rapture, she will be a Burst III Wind sniper. Her skills feature unique properties that change based on the target she attacks.
Finally, Chime joins the roster. This Burst II Iron-element support unit was first seen as an attendant to the Pilgrim, Crown. Chime will be a special participation reward. This means players can acquire her simply by playing the limited-time anniversary event.
Adding to the character excitement, unconfirmed but heavily teased information suggests the game will soon make the Four Beasts playable.
Epic New Storyline: Goddess Fall
The main anniversary event is a massive limited-time side story titled “Goddess Fall.” This story centers on the surface settlement of Eden and its critical role in the war against the Raptures. The plot will focus on the return of the Rapture Queen to Earth. She seeks to complete the extermination of humanity.
This anniversary storyline promises to be an “Assemble” moment. It will bring together many of the game’s most powerful and fan favorite Nikkes. The main story will also continue to progress. New Chapters 41 and 42 will be added with the anniversary update.
As part of the event, players can also engage in Rebuild Eden. This is a base-management minigame. Furthermore, a beta version of a new gameplay type, Surface Exploration, will debut. This is a grid-based strategy mode. It allows Commanders to explore the long abandoned surface of Earth. Players can then build structures and bases to expand their zone of control.
Unprecedented Free Rewards
The developers are providing extremely generous rewards for this milestone event. Players can expect a total of over 220 free summons. This allows Commanders to expand their roster significantly without using their gems.
A free Pilgrim unit is also confirmed to be part of the celebration. This is a massive gift, as Pilgrim units are among the rarest and most powerful in the game.
New cosmetic skins will be introduced for new and existing characters. Nayuta, Crown, Little Mermaid, and Red Hood will all receive new skins. These can be acquired through the skin gacha or premium passes. Additionally, older premium skins for Privaty, Isabel, and Harran will be available for purchase again. This allows players who missed the first release to collect them.
