Samsung Internet Browser Expands to Windows PC

Samsung Electronics has officially announced the launch of a Beta Program for Samsung Internet for PC, marking the debut of its popular mobile browser on desktop computers. This expansion is designed to create a more fluid and connected experience across the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem, making the browser a gateway to what Samsung calls “truly ambient AI.”
Seamless Integration and AI Features
The PC beta, which launched on October 30, 2025, for users of Windows 11 and Windows 10 (version 1809 and above), focuses heavily on cross-device continuity.
- Data Synchronization: Users who sign in with their Samsung Account can securely sync their browsing data, including bookmarks, browsing history, and autofill credentials via Samsung Pass, ensuring a unified experience across their mobile and PC devices.
 - Browsing Continuity: The browser will prompt users to resume browsing when switching between their mobile device and PC, enabling a seamless transition of web activity.
 - Galaxy AI Integration: The PC version includes core Galaxy AI capabilities like Browsing Assist. When logged in, this feature allows for instant webpage summarization and translation, helping users quickly process information.

Focus on Privacy and Availability

Built on the foundation of Galaxy’s trusted privacy and security, Samsung Internet for PC incorporates features like Smart anti-tracking to block third-party attempts to collect personal data. It also includes a Privacy Dashboard for users to manage their security protections in real time.
The initial beta program is currently available in the United States and Korea, with plans for a broader expansion to follow across the globe.
THIS IS Our Take
Samsung’s official move into the desktop browser space with Samsung Internet for PC is a clear strategic play to strengthen the Galaxy ecosystem and compete with integrated experiences offered by Apple and Google. By leveraging core features like Samsung Pass and integrating the highly useful Galaxy AI’s Browsing Assist right from the start, Samsung is giving its vast user base a compelling reason to ditch their current browser. This focus on seamless sync and AI-powered intelligence is exactly what the modern user in Southeast Asia and beyond demands from a multi-device platform.
