WEMADE Partners with Razer to Power the Global YMIR Cup World Championship

WEMADE, the global game developer behind the Unreal Engine 5-powered MMORPG Legend of YMIR, has officially announced a strategic partnership with gaming lifestyle giant Razer to host the YMIR Cup World Championship, a large-scale global esports tournament scheduled to take place from February 28 to March 1, 2026.

The event will be held at Razer SEA Headquarters in Singapore, marking WEMADE’s first-ever offline esports tournament and a major step in its long-term vision to establish Legend of YMIR as a globally competitive esports IP inspired by Norse mythology.

A Hybrid Global Esports Experience

The YMIR Cup World Championship will be conducted in a hybrid format, combining an invite-only offline tournament with worldwide online viewership. Matches will be livestreamed simultaneously across YouTube, Twitch, Facebook Gaming, and Bilibili, ensuring global accessibility for fans and players alike.

More than just a standalone tournament, the YMIR Cup is designed to serve as a foundational testing ground for future large-scale global leagues, strengthening the Legend of YMIR competitive ecosystem and its growing international community.

Tournament Structure and Qualification

The competition aims to determine the strongest servers and clans across regions and will operate independently from the game’s regular Server Battles and Server Duels. League matches will take place every Friday from December 26, 2025, to February 6, 2026, with division champions advancing to the World Championship.

Participating clan members will compete online via a dedicated tournament server. In a special highlight match, the World Championship winner will also face the champion of Legend of YMIR Cup Season 2 from Korea in a featured Legend Match.

Powered by Razer Esports Gear

All teams will compete using top-tier Razer esports peripherals, including the Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro, Razer Huntsman V3 Pro, and Razer BlackShark V3 Pro—equipment widely trusted by professional esports athletes worldwide and featured on Prosettings.net. These devices are engineered for ultra-low latency, rapid response, and ergonomic comfort to ensure peak competitive performance.

Massive Rewards Await Champions

Participants in both the league and World Championship stages will receive in-game rewards, including Diamonds, YMIR Points, and Legendary Character Gacha Tickets, with total rewards valued at up to USD 1,000,000, distributed based on final clan rankings within each division. Exclusive YMIR Cup equipment with special bonus stats will also be available to competitors.

Voices from the Developers

Michael Kim, Head of Game Business at WEMADE, stated:

“From the passionate engagement within the Partner’s Server ecosystem to the dedication shown during server competitions, we’ve been honored to witness the organic growth of the Legend of YMIR community. With Razer’s support, we’re excited to bring the world’s best players together under the highest competitive standards at the YMIR Cup World Championship.”

Looking Ahead

The tournament will conclude with a special awards ceremony on March 1, 2026, celebrating the champions and community that helped shape the first chapter of Legend of YMIR esports history.
