HITMAN World of Assassination Adds Cross-Progression Across PC, Console, and Mobile

Although HITMAN World of Assassination operates quietly like its iconic silent assassin Agent 47, it continues to receive new content updates. IO Interactive has officially confirmed that the game will receive a cross-progression feature starting February 3, 2026, allowing players to transfer save files across devices seamlessly.
This new feature celebrates the 5-year legacy of HITMAN 3, which forms the foundation of the current World of Assassination edition. Players can now merge their experience across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, and supported smartphones, enabling play anytime, anywhere.
Cross-Progression Details
The cross-progression update will transfer:
- Player Level
- Campaign Story Progress
- Achievements/Trophies
- Unlocked Items and Skins
- Challenges and Missions
- Freelance Mode Progress
Please note that DLCs and full game purchases are not transferable. To maintain full access across devices, ensure you have purchased the game on your primary platform. On the same day, the save transfer from HITMAN 2 to HITMAN 3 will also be discontinued, so returning players should update their progress before the deadline.

About HITMAN World of Assassination
Players step into the shoes of Agent 47, a professional assassin for a secretive organization. The game spans multiple countries, including China, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates, allowing players to approach missions with stealth, long-range attacks, or direct combat. Whether poisoning targets, staging accidents, or infiltrating areas for intel, the sandbox-style gameplay gives players full freedom.
The World of Assassination edition includes main missions from HITMAN 1–3, covering 21 locations. The base game is priced at $69.99, with a Deluxe Pack available for additional locations, as well as optional cosmetic DLCs.
With cross-progression, HITMAN fans can now enjoy their progress across multiple devices without losing any achievements or unlocks, making Agent 47’s adventures more flexible than ever.
