During an early-morning Xbox Developer Event, Playground Games the studio behind Forza Horizon revealed additional footage of the upcoming Fable and confirmed its release window for later this year. The new Fable continues the series’ legacy with deep, life-simulating gameplay. Even newcomers to the franchise can enjoy the adventure without prior experience.
About Fable
Fable is an action RPG set in a fantastical world, allowing players unprecedented freedom. You can:
- Develop magical skills and combat abilities
- Interact with NPCs and make story-altering choices
- Influence the fate of the Albion kingdom
- Marry, divorce, build houses, farm, or work as a blacksmith
The game respects the original series’ level of detail while expanding it massively. Players can interact with over 1,000 NPCs, pursue romantic relationships, start families, or embrace a darker path.
