Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially revealed at the Genkidamatsuri event that DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO will receive new DLC content this year. Players can look forward to new characters, costumes, stages, and gameplay modes, including Super Number 17, Bardock (Super Saiyan), and Demon King Piccolo.
Alongside the announcement, a new trailer has been released, giving fans a first look at the upcoming content.
New DLC Features
- Theme Song: The new DLC will feature a theme song composed and performed by Hironobu Kageyama, marking his first contribution to the Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! series in 18 years. The song promises to perfectly match the intensity of battles in the game.
- New Modes:
- “Mission 100” – A single-player mode featuring 100 battles with set conditions for both the player’s team and opponents, inspired by Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3.
- “Survival Mode” – Coming with the free spring update, this mode challenges players to survive increasingly difficult waves of enemies.
Availability
The new DLC content will launch in summer 2026 on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam®. For Nintendo Switch™ and Nintendo Switch™ 2, DLC from the Season Pass will begin rolling out in winter 2026, with additional content arriving later.
