GunZ: The Duel Joins Steam PvP Fest with Third Global Playtest
Masangsoft has officially announced that GunZ: The Duel, the modern revival of the iconic third-person shooter, will host its third global playtest as part of Steam PvP Fest. The event will allow players around the world to experience the latest playable build during the festival period.
Following two successful global playtests, this upcoming test will once again be conducted through the Steam Playtest system. Players will gain direct hands-on access to the game’s competitive PvP experience, while Steam PvP Fest provides an opportunity to introduce GunZ: The Duel to a broader global PvP-focused audience.
Playtest Focus and Development Goals
The third global playtest builds directly on feedback gathered from the second test phase. Masangsoft’s primary focus this time is on overall stability improvements, refinement of core combat systems, and welcoming a wider range of PvP players during the festival.
During the playtest, the development team aims to closely monitor real-time PvP performance, matchmaking flow, and gameplay stability under large-scale conditions. Player feedback collected throughout the event will continue to play an important role in shaping future development phases. Additional details on specific gameplay changes and updates will be shared closer to the playtest start date.

Playtest Schedule
The Third Global Playtest will be available on Steam during Steam PvP Fest from:
- February 9, 2026 at 18:00 PST
- February 15, 2026 at 18:00 PST
Players will be able to join through the Steam Playtest system directly from the game’s Steam store page once the test goes live.
