HBO’s ‘IT: Welcome to Derry’ Premieres October 27 with New Trailer and Key Art

HBO has officially released the trailer and key art for IT: Welcome to Derry, an original drama series from Warner Bros. Television set in the chilling universe of Stephen King’s IT. The series premieres its first episode on October 27 on HBO and will stream on HBO Max, with new episodes every Monday until the season finale on December 15.

Developed for television by filmmakers Andy and Barbara Muschietti (IT, IT Chapter Two, The Flash) alongside Jason Fuchs (IT Chapter Two, Wonder Woman), the eight-episode series expands the horrifying world introduced in the iconic films. Andy Muschietti will also direct several episodes, bringing his signature tone of dread and suspense to the small screen.

IT: Welcome to Derry takes audiences deeper into the twisted mythology of King’s universe, exploring untold stories and expanding on the haunting legacy established in IT and IT Chapter Two. The cast includes Jovan Adepo, Taylour Paige, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, Rudy Mancuso, and Bill Skarsgård, who returns as the terrifying Pennywise.

Produced by HBO and Warner Bros. Television, the series is executive produced by Andy and Barbara Muschietti through Double Dream Productions, Jason Fuchs, Brad Caleb Kane, David Coatsworth, Bill Skarsgård, Shelley Meals, Roy Lee, and Dan Lin. Fuchs penned the pilot episode, while Kane and Fuchs will serve as co-showrunners.
