Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora “From the Ashes” Expansion Launches December 19

United Kingdom – September 24, 2025 – Ubisoft today announced the release of “From the Ashes”, the action-adventure expansion to Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora™. The expansion will be released on December 19. Available on Ubisoft+, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, as well as PC via the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam. In a thrilling new story about revenge and survival. The expansion will be released on the same day that Avatar: Fire and Ash hits theaters, extending the adventure for all Avatar fans.

Developed by Massive Entertainment, a Ubisoft-situated studio in collaboration with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney, “From the Ashes” will take players on a journey into the adventures of So’lek. A Na’vi warrior from the Trr’ong clan by So’lek will be ambushed and left for dead by the RDA with their new ally, the ruthless Ash tribe. With grief and rage, So’lek sets out to gather the tribesmen and protect the community he loves.

“With “From the Ashes,” we wanted to push the limits of the experience players can have on Pandora,” said Omar Buali, chief executive of Pandora. “This expansion offers a darker and more personal story, immersing a more immersive experience through both first- and third-person gameplay, as well as intense new combat mechanics that reinforce the emotional depth and strategy. We wanted to give fans an exciting new perspective on the Western Frontier lands with deeper storytelling and more immersive gameplay.”

For Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – The “From the Ashes” expansion will be released separately for players who already have the base game or who purchased it as part of the new “From the Ashes” Edition, which will include the base game and the “From the Ashes” expansion, along with “Floating Mountains Bonus Content” (three different banshee color decals, inspired by the Mo’ara Valley).
