Netmarble Breaks 2025 Revenue Record Driven by Seven Knights Re:Birth and Global Expansion

Netmarble has officially reported its strongest financial performance to date, setting a new revenue record for fiscal year 2025. The company credited the milestone to a combination of successful new game launches and continued expansion in overseas markets, led by the strong performance of Seven Knights Re:Birth.

According to Netmarble’s annual earnings report, total revenue for 2025 reached 2.84 trillion won, marking a year-on-year increase of 6.4 percent. Operating profit climbed to 350 billion won, up 63.5 percent, while net profit surged to 245 billion won, representing a dramatic 76-fold increase compared to the previous year. This sharp jump was partly due to a very low profit base in 2024.

Key Financial Highlights

Netmarble’s turnaround was driven by multiple factors. In addition to Seven Knights Re:Birth, the company launched several new titles throughout the year, including RF Online Next in March, Seven Knights Re:Birth in May, and Vampyr in August. The global rollout of Seven Knights Re:Birth in September further amplified revenue momentum during the second half of the year.

Overseas Markets Lead Growth

International markets accounted for 77 percent of Netmarble’s total revenue in 2025. North America emerged as the largest contributor with a 39 percent share, followed by South Korea at 23 percent. Europe and Southeast Asia each represented 12 percent, highlighting Netmarble’s increasingly balanced global footprint.

In terms of genre performance, RPG titles remained the company’s primary revenue driver at 42 percent, followed by casual games at 33 percent and MMORPGs at 18 percent. This mix underscores Netmarble’s continued strength in character-driven and live-service focused experiences.

Looking Ahead to 2026

CEO Kim Byung-Kyu confirmed that Netmarble plans to release eight new games in 2026, including StoneAge: Raising, MonGil: Star Dive, and Solo Leveling: Karma. The company will continue to prioritize live-service optimization, long-term player engagement, and tighter cost management.

To further strengthen its financial position, Netmarble also sold shares in HYBE Co. worth approximately 320 billion won, boosting liquidity and providing additional flexibility for future investments.

With Seven Knights Re:Birth proving to be a major catalyst and overseas markets continuing to expand, Netmarble’s 2025 results signal a full-scale recovery and position the company for sustained growth in the global game industry.
