FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves Reveals Nightmare Geese and New Street Fighter Crossover

Nightmare Geese Enters the Arena This February

SNK Corporation has officially confirmed that Nightmare Geese will arrive as the next Season 2 DLC fighter in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves on February 26, 2026. At the same time, the studio revealed the third crossover update between Fatal Fury and Street Fighter, expanding the game’s content lineup even further. As a result, the upcoming update marks one of the most content-rich moments since launch.

The Return of a Living Nightmare

Nightmare Geese first appeared in REAL BOUT FATAL FURY SPECIAL as a twisted manifestation of the late Geese Howard. Although Geese is long gone, his legacy continues to haunt South Town through this dark incarnation. Consequently, Nightmare Geese retains his brutal fighting style, combining overwhelming pressure with signature techniques such as Reppuu Ken and Jaei Ken, making him especially punishing for inexperienced players.

The character will feature Japanese voice acting by Kong Kuwata and English voice acting by Richard Epcar. Together, these performances reinforce the menacing presence of a fighter who embodies the idea that legends never truly die.

A New Story in Episodes of South Town

In addition to standard versus play, Nightmare Geese comes with exclusive story content in the single-player RPG-style mode Episodes of South Town (EOST). This storyline follows him as he roams South Town, unaware of how long he has been dead, or perhaps unaware that he is dead at all. Therefore, players can expect a narrative that explores memory, obsession, and the lingering shadow of power. However, it is worth noting that there are currently no plans to make Nightmare Geese playable in Arcade Mode.

Fatal Fury x Street Fighter Crossover Round Three

Alongside the DLC fighter, the third round of the Fatal Fury x Street Fighter crossover will launch as a free update. Previously, Ken and Chun-Li joined the crossover content, and this new phase continues that momentum with Street Fighter themed additions. As part of the update, Rock and Preecha receive new costumes inspired by Luke and Juri.

Moreover, new EOST scenarios introduce characters such as Ken, Chun-Li, Jenet, and others as they confront JP, a major antagonist from Street Fighter 6. This storyline also includes unusual enemy encounters and fresh crossover skills that blend mechanics from both franchises. In addition, players will face a special boss, Kage Terry, although this character will not be selectable.

Season Pass 2 and Legend Edition Details

Season Pass 2 includes six fighters, with one character releasing each month. The confirmed lineup features Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary, and Wolfgang Krauser, while two additional fighters remain unannounced. Meanwhile, the Legend Edition bundles the base game with both Season Pass 1 and Season Pass 2, offering the most complete version of the experience. This edition is priced at $49.99 and provides access to all current and upcoming fighters as they release.

Note: There is currently no separate release plan for the base game and the First Season Pass.

City of the Wolves Continues to Evolve

FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves blends accessible controls with deep mechanics, highlighted by the REV System and its RPG-inspired single-player mode. Furthermore, rollback netcode and cross-platform support ensure smooth online play for competitive fans. With Season 2 content, balance updates, and ambitious crossover plans, the game continues to grow as a modern evolution of the Fatal Fury legacy.
