Sony Interactive Entertainment has unveiled the PlayStation 27 Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging Hook, a 27-inch display designed to elevate PS5 gaming in personal spaces like bedrooms and home offices. Following the popularity of the PlayStation Portal and on-the-go gaming, this monitor brings a premium PS5 experience to any setup, focusing on visuals, audio, and convenience.
The monitor pairs perfectly with Sony’s recently launched Pulse Elevate Wireless Speakers, delivering a high-quality entertainment experience with sharp visuals and immersive sound without taking up too much space.
Featuring a 27-inch IPS panel with QHD resolution (2560×1440), HDR support, and Auto HDR Tone Mapping, the PlayStation 27 adjusts colors automatically when connected to a PS5 or PS5 Pro, producing vibrant, lifelike images. It supports up to 120Hz refresh rate for PS5 and up to 240Hz on PC or Mac, ensuring smooth gameplay for both consoles and general use.
A standout feature is the DualSense Charging Hook, integrated directly into the monitor, allowing players to conveniently charge DualSense or DualSense Edge controllers without messy cables. This design embodies Sony’s commitment to simplicity and user-friendliness.
Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, two USB Type-A ports, one Type-C port for accessories like the PlayStation Link Adapter, built-in stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and VESA mounting support for flexible setup options.
