Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time Mobile Game Announced for iOS and Android

Koei Tecmo and Ruby Party have announced Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time: The Priestess of the Dragon Palace, a new mobile Romance Adventure game coming soon to iOS and Android in Japan this winter. Fans of love stories intertwined with historical fantasy can look forward to diving back into this beloved universe for a Free-to-Play experience.

The project brings back Tohko Mizuno, the original character designer, as the lead designer alongside Bekko, Zerogo Iwamoto, Yomi, and Koei Tecmo’s Jellyfish team. The “Eight Million Gods” designs are created by Hayate Kuku, ensuring the game retains its rich, fantastical aesthetic.

The voice cast features a star-studded lineup including Asami Seto as Akari Yuikawa, Katsuyuki Miura as Minamotono Yoritomo, Kikunosuke Toya as Tairano Kiyomori, Takeaki Masuyama as Uesugi Kenshin, Ryūichi Kijima as Date Masamune, Yuuto Suzuki as Katsura Kogoro, Ryōta Suzuki as Hijikata Toshizo, Ikue Ōtani as Tamaki, Houko Kuwashima as “Benevolent Person,” and Hiro Shimono as “fire-wielding Invader.”

The story follows Akari Yuikawa, a student caught in a massive storm during a trip to Dan-no-ura in southern Japan. She is saved by a mysterious man in a kimono from attacking demons and brought to an underwater city ruled by a dragon god. There, she is chosen as the god’s miko or priestess, beginning a new adventure that blends time, history, and encounters with legendary heroes known as Hachiyō.
