My Hero Academia All’s Justice Producer Interview

The Arrival of My Hero Academia: All’s Justice Not only is it to please game fans with a new third installment. Recently, ThisIsGame Thailand was given the opportunity by Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia to interview the game’s producer, Miyazaki Aoba, to share an interesting story.

Q. First of all, this part seems to be more special than usual because all the students of Class 1A are playable characters. Want to know how the balance is done?
Yes, some of them don’t have a lot of airtime in the story (laughs), but it’s an important part of the story and has a role as a character behind it, so we tried to get in touch with Shueisha to talk to the copyright owner and the manga writer about how the character should behave. I hope players are happy with the game.

Q. Are there any characters that you find difficult to play as a real fighter?
A: So far, I can’t answer because the team hasn’t finished balancing it yet (laughs). However, I feel that all the characters in Class 1A are connected to each other, and when the game is in the 3v3 genre, I feel that everyone has different strengths or weaknesses. Some are good at close quarters. We can tag team back and forth. Players will try out the technique. Strategizing freely can also help cover up the weaknesses.

Q: I would like to know if the game will be in line with the content of the Final Season anime, so will it be a scene with each other?
There is a lot of pressure because games and anime will come together in parallel and release them in parallel. For the game, we get to control the characters as we want, which is why we use the name All’s Justice. Instead of numbering the parts like the previous two installments, because the word “All” is to include everything, and here it will be on a larger scale. It is also the first Unreal Engine 5.

Q: Because the game has a combat system that affects the environment in the setting. How do you think these elements enhance the experience?
A: As for the previous installment, many people may have done combos through the environment-based control system, such as jumping off walls to make new moves. This time, we still have the same system, but with much better technology, I think that for players to see the scene destroyed, it’s like an emotion, this is it! The impact of the battle of heroes clashing with strong power.

Q: Can you explain some information about the Rising system?
A: There are some characters that some players may feel ‘Oh. I think Rising should make it more accessible because it gives everyone more options in battle. But we’re trying to adjust the balance because the team wants this game to be the best fighting hero (smiles).

Q. When it’s a tag-battle game, it sounds difficult, so can gamers who are fans of anime but aren’t good at fighting games enjoy this game?
A: We also have an auto-battle system as well as easy combos. Sometimes you can just switch between them according to the situation.

Q. Notice that the team has added a lot of accessibility assistance. For hardcore gamers who want to compete, does it feel too easy?
The team pays attention to both groups of players. For the Competitive side, you can go online to meet the best players. While the group that plays in a relaxed way has a lot of content to try, both VS. CPU and story campaigns, 3v3 is a format that makes the game challenging because it requires both power and team collaboration.

Q. When My Hero Academia: All’s Justice is like the third game and also tells a story that is the end of an anime like this. How do new players get used to it?
In terms of story, you may have to do your homework first because it will cover the seasons. 7 – 8, but I can’t say much because it will spoil the story (laughs). But in terms of gameplay, Players focus only on the fun of using heroes to fight each other. You can enjoy it in another way.

Q. Is there anything you would like to leave for the players?
You can be a hero! I hope that My Hero Academia: All’s Justice will be like a milestone of success that we have been working on this game. Thank you for your support as well.
