Choppy Cuts Launches on Steam This February
Garena has officially announced Choppy Cuts, a creative and easy-to-play cooperative party game built around fast teamwork and lighthearted chaos. The game is scheduled to launch globally on February 5 and will debut first on Steam, with Mac and Nintendo Switch versions planned for a later release.
Choppy Cuts is a casual co-op simulation game set in a humorous hair salon environment, where players must work together, make quick decisions, and adapt to unpredictable situations. The game supports more than 10 languages, including English, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, and more, allowing players across regions to jump in together seamlessly.
Fast-Paced Teamwork and Endless Replayability
Designed with replayability in mind, Choppy Cuts rewards coordination, adaptability, and communication. Players take on various salon-related tasks while handling constant waves of unexpected events, creating moments of both comedy and controlled chaos.
Each session challenges players to efficiently style hair, serve customers, and react to ever-changing conditions inside the salon. Every in-game day introduces new variables, ensuring no two playthroughs feel the same. This title marks Garena’s latest addition to its expanding game portfolio.
Garena has also released an official teaser video, offering a first look at gameplay mechanics and the salon systems that define the game’s cooperative experience.
Over 50 Stages and 11 Playable Characters at Launch
At launch, Choppy Cuts features more than 50 stages and 11 playable characters available immediately. These include familiar faces from the Garena Free Fire universe, as well as original characters created exclusively for Choppy Cuts.
Players can choose iconic Free Fire characters such as Kelly, Maxim, Hayato, and Suzy, each retaining signature traits inspired by their original designs. Alternatively, players can select specialized hairstylists with unique abilities, such as enhanced movement speed or superior task efficiency, enabling diverse playstyles and team dynamics.
The roster also includes challenging “boss” characters inspired by legendary Free Fire skins and items, adding extra flair and difficulty to the experience.
Imaginative Salon Environments
Choppy Cuts takes players through a variety of imaginative salon locations. These include Secret Forest, which blends fresh fruit elements with vibrant fashion themes, and Broken Niflheim, where lava-covered floors test players’ reflexes and coordination under pressure.
As the timer counts down, teamwork becomes increasingly critical, pushing players to communicate effectively and stay focused amid escalating chaos.
Garena has confirmed that additional details regarding collaborations with Free Fire will be revealed in the near future.

Players can now add Choppy Cuts to their Steam Wishlist and prepare to take their positions when the salon officially opens on February 5.
