Netmarble has officially announced the New Year Festival 2026 Infinite Sunshine update for The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, delivering a major content drop to kick off the new year. This update introduces a brand new UR Dual Knight, fresh seasonal content, and the launch of the long term 777 Relay Campaign, setting the stage for months of celebrations and generous rewards for players across the SEA Region.
777 Relay Campaign Begins
The centerpiece of this update is the start of the 777 Relay Campaign, a seven month long celebration running through June 2026 to commemorate the game’s seventh anniversary. The first month alone offers substantial rewards, including 100 Diamonds, increased draw mileage bonuses, special coupons, and access to The End of an Era Demon King Meliodas in an exclusive themed costume.
Each month will introduce new reward sets and special features, with ongoing updates shared through the official The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross channels.
New UR Dual Knight Merlin and Escanor
A major highlight of the festival is the debut of Covenant of Dusk Merlin and Escanor, appearing together as a UR Dual Knight for the first time. The New Year Festival 2026 Infinite Sunshine draw event features multiple guaranteed milestones.
During the first round, guaranteed rewards are granted at 150, 300, 450, 600, 750, and 900 mileage points. The second round includes guarantees at 300, 600, and 900 points only. Rewards include SSR Knights at 150, 450, and 750 mileage, SSR or UR Knights at 300 and 600, and the new UR Dual Knight at 900 mileage.
Seasonal Content and New Year Events
The festival update also introduces a New Year Festival World in Liones, delivering a brand new seasonal storyline centered around Meliodas. Players can earn up to 300 Diamonds through enhanced login bonuses, while New Year missions reward the Knight of Guidance Fox Shin upon full completion.
Additional holiday themed activities include a Lucky Spin Barrel offering high value Diamond rewards, an Adventure Invitation event for new and returning players, and themed raid content featuring Meliodas costumes created in collaboration with original manga creator Nakaba Suzuki. The event boss parade also returns in sequence, featuring Auber, Chimera, Griamore, and Kass.
More Quality of Life and Bonus Systems
Players can participate in a desired artifact draw system, increasing the chance of obtaining selected artifacts using Time Crystals earned from in game activities. The GRAND START Retry 100 event grants 10 Knights immediately upon downloading the update, while the New Year Diamond Payback event provides bonus rewards including exclusive Merlin and Escanor costumes for players who spend Diamonds during the festival period.
