Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Triple-Fold Smartphone 10-Inch Display

Samsung is shaking up the smartphone world again with the Galaxy Z TriFold, a new triple-fold smartphone that unfolds into a 10-inch tablet while maintaining a 6.5-inch outer display for everyday use and full Samsung DeX support. The device launches first in South Korea on December 12, 2025, before expanding to the U.S. in early 2026, priced around $2,500.

The Galaxy Z TriFold features an upgraded Armor FlexHinge tailored for its three-panel structure. Each side panel has a slightly different thickness, with the middle panel at 4.2mm and the side panels marginally thinner, ensuring durability and a solid fold. Unlike the Huawei Mate XT’s Z-fold design, TriFold folds the left and right panels behind the main display, providing a unique folding experience.

When folded, the device measures 12.9mm thick and weighs 309g, close to previous foldable tablets. The main 10-inch display offers 2160 x 1584 resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate and supports three vertical apps simultaneously. Specs include Snapdragon 8 Elite, 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, a 200MP main camera with two auxiliary lenses, and a 5,600mAh battery that handles multiple displays.

The Galaxy Z TriFold combines smartphone portability with tablet functionality, delivering a futuristic, durable design for users seeking cutting-edge folding display technology.

Galaxy Z TriFold is set to go on sale in South Korea for the first time on December 12. The price is set at 3,590,400 won or nearly 2,500 US dollars, which is about 500 dollars higher than the Z Fold 7. Other Asian markets will follow next week. The US release is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2026
