Two Point Museum: Quirk Management Sim Hits Switch 2

Two Point Museum: Quirky Management Sim Launches on Nintendo Switch 2

Two Point Museum, the eagerly awaited third installment in the charming and highly comedic management simulation series from Two Point Studios and SEGA, officially launched on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 28, 2025. The game, which was previously released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, brings its unique brand of distorted museum management to Nintendo’s new console for players across the globe.

The Distorted Museum Experience

Two Point Museum follows the established formula of its predecessors, Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus, by blending accessible management mechanics with irreverent humor and a wealth of puns.

  • Curator Role: Players take on the role of a fledgling curator tasked with designing, managing, and developing incredible museums throughout Two Point County.
  • Wild Exhibits: The core gameplay loop involves sending partially trained Experts on far-flung Expeditions via a helipad. These expeditions retrieve artifacts ranging from prehistoric dinosaur bones and rare marine life to hunting ghosts and flesh-eating plants.
  • Thematic Variety: The campaign features multiple museum types, each with a unique gameplay layer. These include natural history, aquariums with their own fish-catching systems, and even a spooky museum where players must capture and contain unhappy ghosts.
  • Management Mayhem: In true Two Point style, managers must constantly juggle multiple tasks: hiring and training staff, optimizing the museum layout to guide guests, ensuring cleanliness and amenities are plentiful, and setting up security to fend off meddling thieves.

Switch 2 Features and Performance Notes

The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Two Point Museum includes the latest updates and cross-over content seen on other platforms, though with specific performance considerations.

  • Visuals and Portability: The game maintains its chunky, vibrant art style and is designed to look great both handheld and docked. The portability makes it an ideal title for quick management sessions.
  • Content: The Switch 2 launch includes the base game and the option to purchase the first major DLC, Fantasy Finds, on the same day. Recent free updates, including a crossover with Vampire Survivors and Dredge, are also incorporated.
  • Performance Note: Reviews note that while the game is highly enjoyable, performance can suffer as museums grow larger and the guest count increases (which is deliberately limited to 200 by default on the Switch 2). The developers are reportedly looking into supporting Joy-Con mouse mode, a feature currently absent at launch.
